Membership Agreement

Members recognize that participation in Mount Vernon Brew Club activities is entirely voluntary. Participation in these activities may involve the consumption of alcoholic beverages which may affect perception and reactions. Members accept individual responsibility for their conduct and behavior. The Mount Vernon Brew Club will neither assume nor accept responsibility for an individual's actions.

Members agree that operating a vehicle while under the influence of alcohol or drugs is a serious violation of both Ohio law and of expected behavior at MVBC events. Members agree they alone are responsible for their actions before, during and after club events, including, but not limited to, decisions about driving after consuming alcoholic beverages and waive any claim, legal or otherwise, against the club and its members, hosts, and guests stemming from formal or informal club activities. Members agree to look out for the safety and security of both their fellow members and for the general public.

Members agree to abide by and uphold the Code of Conduct.

Members acknowledge that they are of legal drinking age in the State of Ohio, have read and understand this application, and agree to all terms outlined above in the agreement, and have read and understand the bylaws.

Members or participants violating these rules will be asked to leave and may be banned/removed from participating in future events at the discretion of the Mount Vernon Brew Club's Board of Directors, as outlined by the bylaws.
